Tiffany Lai is a drama educator and a registered social worker in both Hong Kong and Alberta. She graduated with distinction from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with an MFA in Drama and Theatre Education. Her thesis focused on utilizing drama pedagogy to enhance the Chinese writing skills of dyslexic students. Tiffany was awarded the Estella Wong Drama Education Scholarship, the HKSAR Talent Development Scholarship, the Reaching Out Award, and the Bravo! Hong Kong Youth Theatre Award. She was also twice sponsored by the Lee Hysan Foundation for short-term drama training in the UK.

Tiffany is actively engaged in the drama field in both Hong Kong and Canada, taking on roles in planning, education, and performance. In 2021, she co-founded DuO Lab, a drama education company in Hong Kong, which received support from the Social Innovation Fund to launch the Drama X Chinese language learning pilot program. In 2024, she was selected for the Canada ICAI Newcomer Art Professional Program and recognized as one of the Top 20 Newcomer Artists in Calgary and Edmonton. In 2025, she became a founding member of the Calgary Hong Kong Arts and Culture Association, aiming to connect communities, unite Hong Kongers, and integrate into the local arts scene through arts and culture.

Tiffany has collaborated with over 30 organizations, including Ghost River Theatre, West Kowloon Cultural District, Chung Ying Theatre Company, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, SidebySide, and various primary and secondary schools . She has also conducted numerous drama-in-education workshops for social welfare agencies, using drama as a tool to address the needs of diverse communities.
