Tiffany Lai

Tiffany Lai is a drama educator and registered social worker in Hong Kong and Alberta, Canada. She graduated with distinction from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Master of Fine Arts in Drama, majoring in Drama and Theatre Education. Her thesis explored using Drama in Education to enhance Chinese character recognition and writing skills among students with dyslexia. She previously taught drama at a Hong Kong secondary school.

Tiffany has received multiple awards, including the Estella Wong Drama Education Scholarship, the HKSAR Government Talent Development Scholarship, the Reaching Out Award, and the Bravo! Hong Kong Youth Theatre Award. She was also twice sponsored by the Lee Hysan Foundation for short-term drama training in the UK.

She works across Hong Kong and Canada in education, planning, and performance. In 2021, she co-founded DuO Lab, a drama education company in Hong Kong, and launched the Drama X Chinese Language Learning pilot program with support from the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund, providing in-school support for students with dyslexia.

In 2025, Tiffany was selected for Mount Royal University’s Artist as Changemaker Residency and became a founding member of the Calgary Hong Kong Arts and Culture Association, connecting communities through arts and culture. In 2024, she was chosen for the Canada ICAI Newcomer Art Professional Program and named one of the Top 20 Newcomer Artists in Calgary and Edmonton.

She has collaborated with over 30 organizations, including YW Calgary, Ghost River Theatre, West Kowloon Cultural District, RTHK, Chung Ying Theatre Company, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, SideBySide, Hong Kong Christian Service, and numerous schools. She has also led Drama-in-Education workshops for social service agencies, using drama to engage diverse communities and address their unique needs.

黎嘉欣 Tiffany,現為戲劇教育工作者及香港與加拿大亞省註冊社工。以優等成績(Distinction)畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇藝術碩士課程,主修戲劇教育,其碩士論文探討運用戲劇教育法提升讀寫障礙學生的中文學習能力。並曾於香港中學擔任常規戲劇科教師。在學期間,獲黃婉萍戲劇教育獎學金、香港特別行政區「才藝發展獎學金」及「外展體驗獎」、Bravo! 香港青年劇場獎,並兩度受利希慎基金資助前往英國進行短期戲劇訓練。

現於香港及加拿大戲劇界別擔任策劃、教育及演出工作。2021 年共同創辦 DuO Lab 我們創作室,並獲社創基金資助推行「戲・不同」——戲劇 X 中文學習先導計劃,為讀寫障礙學生提供校內支援服務。2025 年,黎氏獲選成為 Mount Royal University「Artist as Changemaker Residency Program」藝術家。同年,她亦成為卡加利香港藝術文化協會創會成員,致力以藝術及文化連結社群,推動社會凝聚與共融。2024 年,她入選 Canada ICAI Newcomer Art Professional Program,並獲評為 Calgary 及 Edmonton Top 20 Newcomer Artists。

至今合作及服務的單位超過三十間,包括 YW Calgary、Ghost River Theatre、西九文化區、香港電台、中英劇團、香港青年協會、東華三院、香港小童群益會、善導會、香港基督教服務處 及多間中小學。她亦多次為社會服務機構舉辦戲劇教學法工作坊,以戲劇為媒介切入不同社群需要,促進學習與交流。
